Every device goes through the same rigorous, documented process — no shortcuts, no exceptions.
Secure Pickup Scheduled
We dispatch a certified technician to your home or business. All devices are logged with serial numbers and asset tags at the point of pickup — chain of custody begins immediately.
Chain of Custody Documented
A detailed manifest is created listing every device — make, model, serial number, and condition. You receive a copy of this manifest before we leave your location.
DOD-Standard Data Wipe
All hard drives, SSDs, USB drives, and memory cards are wiped using the NIST 800-88 / DOD 5220.22-M standard — the same method used by the U.S. Department of Defense.
Physical Destruction (If Required)
For drives that cannot be wiped (damaged, encrypted, or client-requested), we perform physical shredding or degaussing. The destroyed media is documented and photographed.
Responsible Recycling
Once data is destroyed, all components are disassembled and sorted for recycling. Precious metals, plastics, and circuit boards are processed through certified R2 facilities.
Certificate of Destruction Issued
You receive an official Certificate of Data Destruction listing every device processed, the destruction method used, date, technician ID, and our certification number.
